Not really a thesis update, but I submitted a design to Threadless for their Threadless Loves Kids contest. Some of you might recognize it from way back in Illustration 3. It's still pending approval but once it's accepted your votes would be greatly appreciated!

Over the course of my final semester at Montserrat College of Art I will be creating a series of illustrations for the stories of the Panchatantra. The Panchatantra is a collection of Indian animal fables dating back to the 3rd century BC, though the stories have been around in oral traditions for much longer. At its heart it is a collection of stories based on animal stereotypes that demonstrates the Hindu principal of nīti. Nīti is hard to translate, but it roughly means "the wise conduct of life".
